Frequently Asked Questions About Chiropractic Care

Welcome to Family First. Before contacting us, please browse our FAQ listed below.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept payment from most insurance companies and will bill your insurance directly as a courtesy. We are contracted with Blue Cross, United Health Care, and Medicare.

How much will my insurance cover?

This depends on your insurance policy. Our account specialist will verify your benefits and give you a quote.

Will I need X-rays?

That depends. After a thorough consultation and examination your doctor will determine the complexity of your case and determine if X-rays are medically necessary. Digital X-rays are performed in office.

What is the sound I hear when I get adjusted?

This is simply tension being released from your joints. When gas and fluid move away from your spine, it makes a noise. There doesn’t have to be an noise with your adjustment, but sometimes there is.

Will chiropractic interfere with my medical care?

No. You can keep your medical doctor and receive medical care. We will work with your medical provider to give you the care you need.

Do I have to have an appointment?

We will try to accommodate all walk-ins. However, if you know you are coming, please give us a call so we can better serve you. Even new patients can frequently be seen the same day.
