Meet the Team – Expert Family Chiropractors

Dr. David Winarski, DC

Chiropractor

Following a brief stint in the US Army with an honorable discharge, Dr. David was on another career path in radiology when he was first introduced to chiropractic. When one of his professors, who was a chiropractor, inspired him, Dr. David decided to change schools and pursue his second career as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010. Dr. David’s passion is for helping families experience a higher level of health and push the boundaries on their physical health. He has also pushed the boundaries of his own physical health with a hobby in Ultra Running. In 2013, Dr. David attempted the Western States 100-mile race, completing 97 miles before he was pulled from the course for time and safety considerations. He has also completed over ten 50-mile races and several 50K races. He enjoys running at Rockbridge State Park on the weekends and engaging with his three young sons. It is his goal to compete in another 100-mile race in the next five years.

Dr. Kelli Winarski, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Kelli was interested in becoming a pediatrician when first introduced to chiropractic. 3 years into her undergraduate degree in Biology, she experienced an injury while running. When traditional medicine didn’t have much to offer, she turned to chiropractic at the recommendation of her employer. Chiropractic eased the pain and got her back out running again. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic after completing her bachelor’s degree. She and Dr. David met while on the running trail and dated during school. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2009. Over the next year, they married, welcomed their first son Samuel, moved to Columbia, MO and opened Family First Chiropractic in August of 2010. Her passion is helping women achieve their optimal birth with mindfulness, proper planning and the help of chiropractic care. She enjoys gardening and stained glass making as well as furthering her education by attending seminars in nutrition, technique and developmental neurology. She and Dr. David are both involved in Church activities at Grace Bible where they attend.

Dr. Alisha Squires, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Alisha had a vested interest in the healthcare field from an early age, instilled by generations of nurses within her family, however she also knew that the allopathic approach to healthcare was not in everyone’s best interest. She began her academic journey pursuing a B.S. in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Upon graduating, she immediately found her passion for chiropractic working under the supervision of a fellow Logan University graduate as a chiropractic assistant. It was there she saw first-hand the effects of chiropractic and the tremendous impact it has on patients that would otherwise find themselves indefinitely prescribed on medication. Just two short years into her career as a chiropractic assistant, she decided to pursue her interests further at Logan University to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic. With the support of her significant other amongst her family and friends, she graduated in December 2019, eager to share her expertise with the surrounding community. Shortly before graduation, she married her now-husband, Zach. They can frequently be seen enjoying the best restaurants of the area and live music, of which Dr. Alisha is a devout follower of the St. Louis-based band, Ludo. When she’s not singing and dancing to her favorite musicals or participating in karaoke, Dr. Alisha enjoys binge-watching her favorite shows and enjoying Zach’s culinary creations.

Dr. Collin Zeugin, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Collin graduated from William Woods University in 2017 with a degree in exercise science and was on the track and field team as a thrower. He always knew he wanted to help people, and had an interest in the healthcare field, but didn’t know exactly what that meant for him. He had seen chiropractors in the past for injuries and for performance, which planted the seed. After working in a factory following graduation and suffering another injury, he decided to explore his purpose. That’s when he found Logan University and quickly got himself signed up. Dr. Collin did his internship right here at Family First Chiropractic

Dr. Collin graduated in December 2021 with one major goal in mind: helping the people of his community live full and happy lives through wellness and chiropractic. In his spare time, he likes to play with his dogs, listen to music, and go lift weights at the gym. He also really enjoys cooking and trying out all the locally owned restaurants we have here in Columbia.
