All You Need to Know as a New Chiropractic Patient

We pride ourselves on our customer service. Our staff are very knowledgeable and can answer many of your questions. They can help you schedule an appointment that is convenient for you.

Our New Chiropractic Patient Process

  • Schedule Your Appointment

    No one wants to wait for the next available appointment when they are in pain. We promise to get you in to see the doctor within 48 hours. Many times we can find you an appointment on the same day. Plan to spend about 45 minutes in the office on this first visit only.

  • Online Paperwork

    It’s no fun doing paperwork when you are in pain. Our intake forms are online and can be filled out from the comfort of your home. This saves you time when you are in the office. The online forms are HIPAA Privacy compliant and are sent directly into our computers. There is one additional short form to complete once you have arrived. If you are unable to complete the intake forms prior to arrival, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill them out on one of our iPads.

  • Your Arrival

    We are located in the Village of Cherry Hill at 2024 Cherry Hill Drive. Cherry Hill is located at the junction of Chapel Hill Road and Scott Blvd. If you have any trouble finding us, please call 573-443-5900 to be directed in. Look for our logo on the building. We are right inside. There is additional parking in the rear of the building. We are located in suite 101.

  • Your First Visit

    Our staff will collect your insurance information (if applicable) as well as a driver’s license or other form of ID. Once all paperwork is collected, your vital signs will be measured. You will have a consultation with one of the doctors followed by an examination. This is necessary to provide the best care available. If x-rays are medically necessary, they will be performed in-office. If there are no contraindications, you will receive a relief treatment at your first visit.

  • Your Findings

    The doctor will discuss with you what is causing your problem and what is necessary to correct it at your second visit. If x-rays were taken, the doctor will go through them with you at this time. Our staff will verify your insurance benefits (if applicable) and give you a thorough financial report with an estimated cost of care.

  • Subsequent Visits

    Based on your treatment plan and unique recommendations, you may require several visits in order to reach your health goals. These visits are designed to be timely to fit with your lifestyle, which never slows down. Plan for 5-10 minutes for subsequent visits, unless you are advised otherwise.

  • Home Programs

    Depending on your specific condition, your level of activity, and other lifestyle factors, you may be given a home exercise program to facilitate your results. These exercises are vital to the success of your care. The more active you are, the better your results will be.

At Family First Chiropractic, you will never be treated like another number. You are unique! Your care is also unique. Our doctors have similar adjusting techniques but may have slightly different styles. If you have a doctor preference, let our staff know at the time of your appointment or you will be placed with the next available appointment. We recommend you don’t get attached to one or the other, the adjusting styles are complimentary to one another and may make a difference in your care.
