We’re all in the same boat, but we’re not all in the same storm. I posted this to our private facebook group yesterday. See even though the current situation is affecting us all, some are experiencing a sprinkle while others have a hurricane going on.
It’s a bit scary, the wind is tearing at our walls and rocking our foundation. It’s dark and unknown. Life is changing as we know it.
Some have lost jobs, some have lost insurance. Some have lost family members. We wake up each day not knowing what it will bring. I don’t know what your storm is, but I do know this… the stress of the storm is affecting us in very REAL, physical ways.
Some of you know that we have a 501(c)3 Non-profit called Chiropractic Cares. This is a program we developed way before we knew just how much our community would need it. Chiropractic Cares was designed to remove financial barriers from receiving chiropractic care. Those with low income, hardships, and some special populations could still receive the care they needed. Originially we opened up 30 appointments per week for these people. They were filled very quickly.
Some of you have found yourselves in this position for the first time and it can cause a lot of uncertainty. If so, I want to invite you to apply. If you qualify, based on income guidelines, you may be able to receive care at a highly reduced cost and some may even qualify for a scholarship. We have opened up an additional 30 appointments per week for non-profit chiropractic care for those in need.
If you think this is you, please respond to this email or call our office. We welcome you during this time to apply and look forward to helping you weather the storm in any way we can.
In love and kindness,
Dr. Kelli and Dr. David
